If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is...well, you get it. Properly used videos can be an invaluable asset to your brand and your customers. As a video producer, I have been the conduit between clients and video companies to help create inspiring branded video content that inspires their customers and reflects their organization's personality.

Booz Allen Hamilton has always been proud of their former military employees and the excellence they bring to the firm. To show their appreciation and to showcase opportunities for other formerly enlisted jobseekers, we created a series of videos that told the stories of their former military employees called Supporting the Military. Together with a team of video professionals, we interviewed five individuals who started new careers at Booz Allen after their tour of duty in the military was completed. The Supporting the Military series shows how vets and other formerly military can find a new mission as they progress their career.

The potential for innovation lives inside each of us. In the Spark of Innovation video series, Booz Allen wanted to demonstrate the ways their people innovate every day. From devising ways to wake up sleepy drivers to a state of the art robotics laboratory, we worked with a video team to capture the perspectives of these great minds and show potential recruits what they could do with a career at Booz Allen.

STEM Girls 4 Social Good is an organization dedicated to cultivating the next generation of STEM talent by educating young women of color in science and technology. Cheryl Wade, the leader of Booz Allen’s Diversity and Inclusion initiative brought the power of Booz Allen’s own engineering capability along with other brilliant STEM minds from the DC Metro region to host a week-long summer camp for girls who are passionate about science.

To tell the story of this amazing organization, I worked with Cheryl Wade and others from the Booz Allen team to lead a crew of documentary video producers to capture the happenings at the camp. In addition, I led interviews with key players of the week’s event to gather perspectives and further flesh out the story. Once all the footage had been shot, I worked with the video team to finalize post-production and create two separate videos for Booz Allen to use across their social and digital platforms. The result is a documentary-style short-form piece that shows the positive impact a large organization like Booz Allen can have on its community.
